There comes a moment in every person's life when they have to make a decision. Stay comfortable or step into the unknown.

Most people think the biggest risk is trying something new.

Starting the business.

Launching the idea.

Changing careers.

Pivoting.

Dreaming bigger.

But what if the real risk is staying exactly where you are?

I have learned something over the years... Growth rarely feels comfortable!

(I might need to say that louder for the people in the back. Whewww!)

The gym stretches muscles. Life stretches faith. Purpose stretches vision.

Every level of growth requires you to leave something behind.

Sometimes it is fear. Sometimes it is pride. Sometimes it is a version of yourself that got you here but cannot take you there. (I Felt That In My ShaunNaNa!)

That has been the story of Pictopia.

What began as a selfie experience evolved into a creative venue. Then God challenged me again. Not because the vision was failing, but because the vision was growing.

I realized something powerful.

The building was never the mission. The mission was helping people feel seen. The mission was helping creators, artists, entrepreneurs, visionaries and even myself sometimes, show up confidently in the world.

The mission was helping people become "Seen Different and Presented Professionally."

When we hold too tightly to what was, we sometimes miss what could be. Repeat that to yourself a few times!

Pivots are not always signs of failure. Sometimes pivots are proof of growth. A tree that stops growing eventually stops producing. A dream that stops evolving eventually becomes a memory.

Goals require movement.

Movement requires courage.

Courage requires faith.

There are people reading this who know exactly what they need to do next.

You know the business idea. You know the conversation. You know the opportunity. You know the step. But fear keeps whispering:"What if it doesn't work?"

Let me ask you something.

What if it does?

What if the thing you're praying for is waiting on the other side of your next step?

What if your breakthrough is disguised as a pivot?

What if your future is hidden inside your willingness to try?

Too many people spend years protecting themselves from failure while accidentally preventing themselves from growth.

The life you want requires action.

The impact you want requires movement.

The legacy you want requires courage.

Vision is in you.

Action is on you.

So take the step.

Make the call.

Launch the idea.

Trust God.

And remember:

The risk of staying the same is often far more dangerous than the risk of trying.

Keep growing.

Keep believing.

Keep moving.
